YES!

After many months of hope and disappointment, I FINALLLY got a dog! Yes, yes, yes, I'm undescribly happy. My face is like this the whole day: :D and boy, do my cheeks hurt. It's a girl miniature schnauzer who is about 1 year old (I'll post a picture soon) and she's very spunky. She's gray and black and I guess her name is Raven because she's bulky and wild like her. Heehee, uhhhh Raven doesn't like to be locked up in a cage and she's super hyper. She all has a little bit of us in her.... Raven's like me because she loves attention, she's like my brother because they both love to play, she's like my dad because my dad got stitches and she's going to get surgery tomorrow, and she's like my mom because they're both very loud. Hahaha, well yeah so here's the story:

So it was 9 in the morning and I got ready for my dad to pick me up because we had to be at the shelter at 10am sharp. We were third on the list of getting the dog, which meant that if #1 and #2 didn't show up at exactly 10 then we would get the dog. Unfortunately, #2 showed up, but with 2 other dogs, a dalmation and daschund. They had to see if Raven would cooperate with her other dogs, and Raven did but she was kept going to us because we didn't have any other dog and she likes LOTS of attention. Thus, #2 asked us if we wanted it because she seemed happier with us (and I think she secretly felt bad) and we accepted. That's how we came to get it. That couple was super nice. We thought she was coming home with us today, but she isn't because they are going to spay her tomorrow, so tomorrow is when we will get her. YEAHH. After, we went to Petsmart and Walmart to look for doggie food, toys, etc. We don't really have anywhere to leave her so we're going to put her in a cage in my dad's room and she won't like it. :( We also have to take away any small things or hanging wires in our house. There is such a hassle in having a dog but it's worth it.

Btw, she has an ear infection, is getting treated for her foot infection, and is getting spayed tomorrow. Poor baby, but she's mine. <3333

Okay, got to go, I'm looking for stuff on Ebay.
